Anal Fissure or Fissure in ano is a very painful condition that leads to a lot of discomfort to the person suffering from it. To understand it properly we have to go through at the root cause of the problem. At most of the time anal fissure is caused due to passage of hard stool during defecation. The hard stool causes a tear at the anal canal which cause a lot of pain during passing of stools. If the patient has consulted a doctor and took treatment whether by kshara sutra or by any other method and the root cause i.e. constipation if not treated properly, can lead to Fissure recurrence in future during passing of hard stool. So, this thing must be kept in mind that no method can prevent recurrence of fissure, if you are not going to change your lifestyle and follow diet management to avoid constipation.
Kshara sutra or any other surgical procedure only cures the current fissure. Kshara sutra treatment is indicated only for chronic Fissure associated with a sentinel tag or sentinel pile. It can’t prevent it in future. Prevention from recurrence strictly depends on your daily routine and dietary precautions. You may never have a recurrence, if you actively take care of your daily food and lifestyle, to have a good digestion and a smooth passage of stools.

The answer is clear from the write up itself.
Sir, I am suffering from fissure since 2015. Every year, during summer I used to notice a lump in anal area full with pus. After taking regular sitz bath for 3 to 4 days, the pus drains automatically and sooner I get relief. But again next year it appears. During these 3-4 days, it feel like hell. Can you please let me know why this problem is recurring??? I don’t face any problem for rest of the year. Looking for your reply sir.
It can be fistula not fissure. Check up is needed to confirm the disease and to plan proper treatment. Please call our helpline 7861888100 for more details.
I done my kshar sutra in. Chandigarh for fissure . now my hole is closed. But when thread was tied lot of pus discharged from the hole .. today I have no pain also while defecation.. but I am afraid that past history of pus discharge may form fistula or not in future.. I just want to know respected sir …any of ur patient ever form fistula after kshar sutra surgery of fissure.. hope to get ur reply soon
Why to spoil present in the worry of future. If any fistula is formed, go for treatment of that. Why to worry now when it’s not there?
